Megan’s artwork is all produced by hand, primarily via the medium of acrylic on canvas paintings. She also works in pen & ink, creates small works on wood panels, and paints whimsical murals. Her artwork explores intimate landscapes inspired by our region’s flora and fauna. The animals and children in her work exude a sense of wonder as they journey through the outdoors exploring themes of companionship, protection, wilderness, and the greatest adventure of all: love.
Megan earned a degree in fine art from Seattle University, which led to employment in arts administration for public art and cultural arts programs in Washington State. This path led her to the famed Chihuly Studio, where she worked five years coordinating the installation of large-scale sculptures and gallery exhibitions domestically and internationally. Since leaving Seattle in 2012, Megan has been based first in Portland and now in Bend, Oregon, creating artwork, building her business and showing her work throughout the Northwest. Megan is happy to be back in her home state pursuing her passions for art and the outdoors!
